As a future Research and Teaching facility, Strathmore University Medical Centre, recently developed a robust research platform that will enable as to actively participate in health systems research that is intended to impact the Kenyan healthcare system in a positive way.

In partnership with Centre for Research and Therapeutic Sciences (CREATES) and other research centers within the University, Strathmore University Medical Centre is beginning to set A firm footprints in the area of health research.

To extend our service provisions, Strathmore University Medical Centre has partnered with medical insurers such as UAP, Heritage Insurance, Clarkson Nottcutt, Sedgwick and Pacis Insurance, NHIF etc. Such partnerships have enabled us to extend our health services to the wider public seeking outpatient services from our facility.

Corporate Social Responsibility & Sponsorships

In tandem with one of our core values of “service to society”, Strathmore University Medical Centre has set up an Endowment Fund to enable vulnerable groups of patients to access our medical services when they require it. Through the Endowment fund, we have been able to assist, needy students within the University, and populations within the low-income settlements around the University.
